Santorini, Greece

Artemis Karamolegos Winery is a natural continuation of the tradition of Artemis’s family. His grandfather cultivated vineyards and produced his own agricultural products in Santorini. Artemis’s innate love for Santorini led to the creation of his first wine in 2003. In the next few years he worked with the family vineyards emphasizing  the indigenous grape varieties, embracing the traditional viticulture and dedicating to continuous experimentation at the different stages of wine production.

The central pillar of the winery is Artemis’s long-term relationships with the island’s grape growers and the continuous work in his own vineyards. As a result, we produce the best quality grapes for our wines.

The range of fourteen labels is an example of consistency in time. Assyrtiko, the indigenous variety of the island and the flagship grape variety of the winery, provides unique and complex wines that are a result of inspiration and creativity.

Vision for top quality winemaking, humility and hard work are some of the values that stem from Artemis and inspire the small team that works together for authentic expression of Assyrtiko wines and rich wine experiences.
