Gavalas Fragospito White

Fragospito White 2020:

A blend of 50% Moschato Spinas and 50% Malvasia.

The Fragospito Vineyards take their name from a house that existed on the site in the 1700’s.  The vineyards are at an altitude of 1200 feet above sea level. The soils are a clay and stone mix and are organically certified.

The two varieties are vinified separately and then blended together.  Both varieties undergo classic white wine fermentation in stainless steel tanks.  The color is a pale lemon with aromas of white roses and citrus. This is a medium bodied white with a pleasant finish.
