Location of vineyards: Central and Northern Peloponnese, Greece
Soils: Sandy clay soils in the north at 180m above sea level. Rocky clay soils in the central region at the foothills of the Menalo Mtn. Range with an altitude of 200 -270m above sea level.
Climate: Mediterranean and influence affected by the Meltemi & Livas winds.
Vinification technique: Upon harvest, the grapes were placed in a chilled stainless steel tank for 48 hours at a temperature of 10C. Once chilled, traditional red wine fermentation took place. When completed, the wine was aged in 3K liter old oak cask for 3 months. Bottled fined & filtered then transferred to bottle and left to rest for a period of 3-4 additional months before release.
Alcohol level & characteristics: Alcohol: 12.5 % ABV, Acidity: 4.7g/l, Residual Sugars 2.1 g/l,
Description: Ruby red with light purple hints at the rim. Lively aromas of black berry, tart red cherry, and thyme. Medium bodied with balanced acidity, moderate tannins, and a medium finish.
