A blend of higher altitude vineyards around the village of Fyteia and the warmer, lower elevation vineyards adjacent to the village of Trilofos. Vines are young and non-irrigated.
Schist, granite and limestone
The microclimate in Naoussa region is warm continental with moderate levels of rainfall being spread equally throughout the seasons. The cooling winds from Mt Vermio are crucial
for the quality of the grapes.
September 19th – October 10th
Grapes are hand-picked,
75% destemmed and maceration lasts for 12-15 days. The fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks
and it is complete after 3 months. Maturation: Concrete tanks
for 8 months.
Fragrant aromas of fresh red fruits, herbs and
an elegant vegetal character.
Crisp acidity balances the richness of the body.
The aftertaste is complex and long.
